The service

Slowpoke (slowpokeshop.com) is a curated consignment marketplace for pre-loved menswear, operated by Slowpoke LLC. We act as consignee — sellers ship items to us, and we inspect, photograph, list, store, and ship items to buyers on their behalf. By using our platform as a buyer or seller, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You must create an account to sell on Slowpoke. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Buyer terms

All purchases are final once shipped. Items may only be returned if they materially differ from their listing description. You have 14 days from confirmed delivery to request a return — see our Return Policy for details. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We aim to ship all orders within 1–3 business days. International delivery times vary by destination. Prices are set by Slowpoke and are non-negotiable.

Seller & consignor terms

By submitting an item, you grant Slowpoke the right to list, photograph, market, and sell that item on your behalf for up to 60 days from the date it arrives at our studio. You represent that you own the item, have the legal right to sell it, and that it is accurately described in your submission.

Slowpoke sets all final listing prices based on market conditions, brand, and condition. Items not sold within the 60-day consignment window will be returned to you or offered at a reduced price — your choice, communicated at the end of the window.

Commission rates: items priced under $500 earn 65% to the seller; $500–$999 earn 70%; $1,000 and above earn 75%. Payouts are processed weekly via Stripe direct deposit, subject to a short holding period to account for returns.

Slowpoke reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet our quality or aesthetic standards.

Prohibited items

We do not accept counterfeit goods, stolen property, or items that infringe any intellectual property rights. Sellers found submitting prohibited items will have their accounts permanently suspended and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Intellectual property

All content on Slowpoke — including photographs, descriptions, branding, and copy — is owned by Slowpoke LLC or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slowpoke and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the value of the relevant transaction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.
